Mr. Carpentier is familiar with technology, innovation and the municipal world. He was involved for twenty years as an administrator and strategist in politics and then made a leap to the municipal level. Indeed, for nearly 4 years in Longueuil, Mr. Carpentier worked to implement innovative projects around themes such as the smart city, mobility and connected objects. He also worked in business development for the Quebec-based geomatics software firm K2 Geospatial for 2 years. Finally, just before joining Jakarto, Mr. Carpentier was a strategic advisor for the Canadian Red Cross, which has been particularly active and solicited by the particular "humanitarian and health" conditions since the beginning of 2020.
