Inventory of different types of poles along the road network

This Jakarto data contains geolocation information (X, Y), pole type and 3D representation for:

Street lights;

Traffic lights;

Electrical and/or telecommunication poles (see our advanced product sheet on this type of infrastructure)

This inventory data is generated from Jakarto's HD LiDAR already available on the Jakartowns web application. See our coverage map.

The pole inventory data comes in three deliverables:

2D data: Data file (.shp) containing the geolocation of the items and some attributes including the pole type;

3D data: Classified point cloud of poles only, isolated and extracted from the entire captured landscape and available in the Jakarto Digital Twin;

URL context Jakartowns : For each element, a hyperlink is associated and can be activated to open Jakartowns directly at the location of the ditch or culvert in order to visualize the entire geographical context.

Quality and completeness

Note that Jakarto offers by default a confidence level on identification and classification of 95% (minimum, the result can be higher) via its automatic data processing platform.

Optionally, there are two (2) possibilities surrounding quality assurance in an attempt to achieve 100% identification and classification of the data as seen from the road:

Jakarto's team of experts can, for an additional fee, perform this quality assurance and labeling tasks.

Geographic coverage

If your geographic area is not yet in the Jakarto catalog, and is in accordance with our geographical coverage planning, the data can be produced as a priority. For an area outside of our planning, a request for production can be made after an evaluation. In this case, you can expect a production and delivery time between 5 and 10 weeks.

How can I ensure Jakarto covers my geographical location?

There are two ways to determine if our database includes your location (city, district, network, site, campus, etc.)

What types of data does Jakarto offer?

Jakarto offers four types of data

3D mapping data
Complete geographic data with full inventory capabilities for 3D viewing and immersion.
2D mapping data
2D data generated from full 3D data mapping.
Inventory data in 3D
Data specific to one or more inventory categories with elements represented in 3D.
Inventory data in 2D
Data specific to one or more inventory categories with elements represented in 2D.

What data formats and delivery methods are available?

Data can be delivered in two ways:
1. Raw data files: be sure to specify the file format in which you want to receive your Jakarto data. These are delivered to you according to their size (hard drive, DVD, USB key, FTP access);
2. Software as a service (SaaS): access the data through the Jakartowns web application

What exactly is Jakartowns?

Jakartowns is Jakarto's software as a service (SaaS). The web application, which requires no installation, is used to view and explore 3D maps (such as Google Street View). It also offers powerful geolocation and measurement functions.

How are your rates calculated?

We calculate our rates based on several criteria. Here are the main ones:

The type of data requested: you can request either a digital twin for viewing and immersion or data representing inventory items;
The size of the territory covered (generally calculated in linear road kilometers);
Whether or not the data already exists in our catalog. If the data does not exist, we must assess the planning and implementation of the capture campaign, accounting for factors such as location, season, safety, etc.;
The frequency in which the data must be updated: we determine whether a single capture suffices or if update campaigns (every one, two, or three years) are required to track changes.
Lastly, the type of data access requested affects pricing. For instance, requesting simple web access via Jakartowns is generally more economical than requesting raw data files.
