Démarrage imminent; Jakarto is preparing to launch another ambitious mobile mapping project — this time in Ontario: a loop of more than 3,000 km in just two weeks.
This project will allow us to cover several strategic downtown areas in Northern Ontario, including North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Greater Sudbury, and Huntsville, and to continue our coverage further south with Hamilton, London, Niagara Falls, and St. Catharines.
We had the chance to discover Algonquin Park last year during two events in Huntsville and Muskoka Lake — thank you to Ontario Municipal Administrators Association and ROW Management🙌
This year, we’ll have the privilege of mapping the region as nature offers its most beautiful spectacle: the fall colors season.
Beyond expanding our coverage — particularly in Northern Ontario, where we previously had little presence — this loop will also be an opportunity to launch pilot projects in various municipalities, demonstrate the full power of our mobile mapping process in the field, and even explore an academic component.
Our presence in Ontario also coincides with several major events this fall, where we’ll have the opportunity to meet the geospatial and municipal community:
ROW Conference – 📍 Ajax | 📅 October 14–15, 2025
OMAA Fall Workshop – 📍 Niagara-on-the-Lake | 📅 October 19–21, 2025
BeSpatial Ontario – 📍 Hamilton | 📅 October 21, 2025
This major fall loop embodies our vision: bringing geospatial innovation closer to cities, public organizations, and academia by delivering digital twins and asset inventories that are more precise, accessible, and impactful.
Let us know if you’d like us to stop in your city!
